The following collection of photographs is my submission to the American Landscape Photo Contest. I don’t know that any are groundbreaking, but they all capture the immense beauty of some of the places in nature that I’ve been and love. Above, a photo of the Golden Gate Bridge just after sundown. None of my entries contain any human aspect. However, each has a body of water and together they capture a range of landscapes and ecosystems that support our lives in and around them. This image exhibits a combination of landscape and cityscape, and was not entered as part of my submission, but nonetheless contrasts the beauty of nature and the resourcefulness and skill of man. I hope these images evoke something in you.
